About
Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the undead outnumber humans 10,000 to one, and there's no telling the deference between humanity and flesh seekers. When a stranger is found in the deserts, a surviving group does what they can to stay alive. But when a raiding group decides to claim their territory as their own, the survivors must fight in order to keep balance between themselves and the creatures that haunt their very souls.
Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption is a indie film directed by Michigan Director, Ryan Thompson, the clever and insane genius behind the first film, Zombie Apocalypse. With a larger budget, larger crew and stunning talented cast, Mr. Thompson really did it this time folks! Written by Ryan Thompson and Matt O'Day.
"ZAR", a short-term name for the production, was filmed in Ypsilanti and Detroit, Michigan. I had an awesome time as I have had the pleasure to experience ZAR for myself, as a zombie, and it was a great opportunity to work first-hand with the cast and crew of the production.

For most, I believe that I must talk about the main talent that ZAR had during my experience on site with the cast and crew of ZAR. I learned a few stunt tricks from Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption Stunt Crew, I must express my double thumbs up and was extremely impressed in the work of stunt coordinators Li Xing and Vong Lee, along with the rest of the fellow stuntman that I had the honor of meeting. Although Vong wasn't present most of the time, Li was on site everyday I was there. If you ask anyone who had worked on ZAR, you can say that Li carried a firearm or a type of weapon almost every time you see him, that or else walking around and training the cast. I had the honor in working with both Vong and Li while I was on site, but Li was always present so that none of the zombies had to worry as we were in good hands, Li was the one that helped me out on a few stunt tricks so that I can perform them safely and definitely someone that I would encore to work with again in the near future. Vong and Li are also part of the cast playing rivals, their scene is one of the up most interesting.

Second, I would like to express my personal experience as I had met and kicked it back with the legendary Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, YES! IT'S HAMMER TIME! Unlike most production Actors who flee whenever you go near them, I was amazed as Fred kept things as if I was his everyday neighborhood friend. We hung out together talking about golf, talking about his shops in Chicago and so on. I first met Fred on his first day on set, I was going to ask for a autograph but all the time that I had spent with him on set and taking a photo together as if we were long time buddies, has done plenty for me. It was sad to see him go, like seeing your friend just walk out the door, but that experience has changed my life in the eyes of the celebrity world, especially someone as kind as The Hammer. I would like to give my thank yous to Director, Ryan Thompson, as it was for him that I had my life changed completely around about the Celebrity lifestyle. Fred's presence flooded the production with a special feeling that has made ZAR as it stands.

Fourth, is the make-up, like WOW. Very very, very talented make-up artists. I've been on other films that required scrapes and scars, but WOW. Zombies almost made me sh!t my pants. Blood tasted good however, never knew what it was though...and I don't want to know.

Finally, the fifth element of ZAR...is the CREW! Excellent grips, camera operators, still photographers, special effects, ext. ZAR is going to be one of Michigan's Best Indie Films of the Century, I just know it. The talent Ryan Thompson and his amazing crew is coming through people, take off your hats and lift your blouses, because the zombie apocalypse is deemed inevitable and the redemption of human kind is in their hands...and our very own survival entirely counts on it!
According to the Facebook Fan-page of ZAR, Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption is scheduled to be premiered in March of 2011 in Royal Oak, Michigan. In the mean time, we all await this fantastic film for it's release. According to internet polls, ZAR also has fans with many around the world; such as the Horror Fest in Germany and France, the Tokyo Horror Society in Japan, the Asian Horror Net in Hong Kong including the American Horror Society in the United States.
